Upon obtaining the
approval from our customers for the test batch, we will proceed to plan
and schedule our garment processing workflow, taking into consideration
the type of processes and delivery deadlines. |
Dry
Processes |
Under the
dry garment processing, we will apply the different effects on
the garments required by our customers. The techniques used
under the dry processes are as follows:- |
Quality Assurance |
Quality control
checks are conducted by line supervisors and checkers throughout the
entire dry process to ensure consistency and early detection of defects,
so that corrective actions can be carried out promptly. |
Pre-Wash |
After the dry
process, the garments are subjected to a 100% quality check before
transferring them to the Pre-Wash Department. Sewing, tacking and
hemming of the garments are performed during the preparation stage to
prevent any damage to the garments. |
Shade Segregation |
After the
Pre-Washing preparation, the garments are brought to the Shade
Segregation section. This is necessary because garments with different
shades may require different formulation during washing to achieve
identical washing shade and effects. In doing so, we can achieve
consistent shade and quality after the wet process. |
Weighing |
Before washing, the
garments are weighed and grouped into different washing batches
depending on the capacity of the washing machine. The amount of
chemicals used for washing also depends on the weight of the garments. |
Wet
Processes |

Wet Process |
Under the
wet process, the finishing is chemically applied on the garments
to create the effect required by the customers. The broad
categories of the wet process are enzyme washing, dyeing and
bleaching. Any one or more of these wet processes may be applied
to the garments depending on the customer’s specifications. |
In-line QC’s are
assigned throughout the entire wet process to ensure consistency and
early detection of defects during production. Once the QC determines
that the desired effect is not achieved, production will be stopped
immediately. The technical engineers, together with the production
supervisor on duty, will jointly analyze and resolve the problem. |
Drying |
After washing, the
garments are loaded into the drying machines and properly dried. During
the drying process, the temperature and time vary depending on the type
of fabric and the desired result. |
Final Quality Control Assurance |
After the garments
are dried, the Final Quality Assurance Department comprising shade
checkers and quality checkers will carry out checks on the garments to
ensure that the processed garments are consistent with good shades,
tone, hand feel, abrasions etc. and that the processed garments are not
damaged or torn. |
Delivery |
After the
final QC, the packing section prepares the garments for delivery
by making an inventory and putting them in clear plastic bags.
Thereafter, the packed garments are loaded in our delivery
trucks, and delivered to our customers.
